Sewing
While studying at Norland College I am given the opportunity to complete different sewing projects for children. I absolutely love this part of my studies and hope you enjoy my work just as much as i do!

01
Children Skirt
For my first project I made a tie dyed skirt for a two year old. I love this project because the pattern can be easily changed to accommodate for any size. This project also allowed me to become familiar with tie dying which is an excellent activity to do with a child. I ended my project with a floral patch, floral applicades and a bow on the back.
02
Childrens Apron
For my second project I created a honey bee themed apron fitted for a two to three year old. I started the project by using a stamp to print bees flying around and then used color theory mixing to make different flower prints. I then hand sewed the front pockets hexagons on to create a comb like effect. I lastly finished the project with some hand sewn embroidered lines to create movement in the way the bees were flying.
