During my first year studying at Norland College, I learned all the basics and some more complexed skills in cooking and baking. While practising my cooking in a practical sense I also learned in lectures how to wean children starting at 6 months and how to adapt the recipes below for babies and young children. At the end of the year, I earn distinction for my cooking and an award for Excellence in Food and Nutrition.
